How its done : White acrylic is applied to the free-edge, pink acrylic is applied to the nail bed
Getting your nails filled : When your nails grow out, there will be an area to fill in the back, by the cuticle, with pink and white nails you will alternate pink only and both pink and white balances . It means, that your first balance will be pink only and 2-3 week after that we will do a pink and white balance. After 2 more weeks your will again need pink only balance.

Lengthens and increases the strength of your natural nails. Acrylic nails are one method of nail extensions. It is applied using a Sable brush, and a combination of Acrylic powder and liquid. Once the product is dry (Approximately 3-5 minutes), it becomes hard and very durable. Because of that, it is recommended for nail bitters and damaged nails. Although strong, Acrylic is not very flexible, and with time becomes brittle and yellow in color. New set is recommended every 2-4 months. It is a porous nail and absorbs whatever it comes in contact with. For example: food and dirt. Colored polish is usually worn with this nail for that reason.

The newest artificial nails are Gels. Its texture is similar to hair gel. Once the gel is applied using a synthetic brush, it is placed under a U-V light to harden or set. That takes about three minutes. Gel is often referred to as not being acrylic, but in fact they are based in acrylic family. GEL NAILS are an extremely natural-looking enhancement: thin, clear, flexible, non- yellowing, nonporous, resist lifting. Gel nails can be used for natural nail overlays , tip overlays, and sculpted onto forms for short extensions, and to help encapsulate a broken nail. Gels are meant to be worn natural. They can be also polished, however since they are nonporous, polish does not adhere to the gels as well as to acrylics. Gel nails are a great manicure alternative, because they look super natural and are extremely light. Gels are great for people allergic to acrylic nails.

Second form or gel nails is powder gel. This method gives you same look as with liquid gel, but nails are bit stronger and its less expensive. They are not as clear as liquid gel and cannot be worn by people allergic to acrylic.
