Zenity Salon is committed to cleanliness. Every single employee at Zenity Salon understands and abides by the sanitation guidelines as outlined by the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology. To go one step further in ensuring the consistencies of our sanitation standards as well as service level, here are some of the things we do as a standard practice:

All metal implements are sterilized after every client.
Implements are washed in EPA approved disinfectant (bactericidal, fungicidal, and viricidal).

Next, they are placed inside of a disposable pouch, which is then inserted into our medical grade autoclave and sterilized by use of high heat and steam.

Autoclave is a machine used in hospitals, clinics and dental offices.

After sanitation cycle is completed, indicator on the pouch will display, that sterilization took place.

Pouches will remain sealed, until we open them during the service.

1. What is Autoclave ?
An autoclave is a vessel that sterilizes by heat and pressure. First the autoclave vacuums all the air out of the chamber, and then heats it up to 250 degrees. The temperature is maintained for 30 minutes, killing all viruses, spores and bacteria.

2. What is Sani Tablet ?
Sani-Tablet is a specially formulated product for portable and whirlpool foot baths that eliminates cross contaminations caused by microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, and viruses.

Eliminates 100% of all bacteria, fungi and viruses, many commonly found in spa water, including Staphylococcus Aurelis, Salmonella Chleraesuis, Hepatitis B Virus (HBV), Antibiotic Resistent Organisms, E. coli, Campylocater, Citrus canker
Safe: E.P.A. registered, it will not harm skin .

We only use disposable, single use files and buffers, during manicures and pedicures.
They will be given to you, after your service is finished.

We do not use razor blades for callous removal, they are dangerous and illegal to use in the state of Ohio Every pedicure comes with brand new, clean pumice stone. Pumice is for you to take home after pedicure is finished. We will only use new nail file and buffer. Our foot files are stainless steel and they are always stored in disinfectant, when not in use.

To ensure pedicure safety we use Sani Tablets, the one and only disinfectant, that is E.P.A. approved for use in foot spas. Eliminates 100% of all bacteria, fungi and viruses. This tablet is always added
to water in pedicure tub, before your feet are soaked.

Foot Spas are thoroughly flushed after every client. All water is drained from the jets. They are sprayed down with antibacterial disinfectant cleaner and fast acting disinfectant and wiped dry.

We never use MMA containing monomer liquid. Our technicians wear face mask in order to prevent daily and extended exposure to filing dust.
